Tell Congress to Pass the Matthew Shepard Act

"A law protecting all of our citizens against senseless hate violence is long overdue. Last year, both houses of Congress passed a historic hate crimes bill known as the Matthew Shepard Act, which would have outlawed hate crimes based on both sexual orientation and gender identity. But the legislation never made it to President Bush's desk because of his veto threat.

Send a message to Congress today. Remind them that America still needs the Matthew Shepard Act to help ensure safety and security for ALL Americans."

Help! They are building the Bush Library on the SMU campus, just minutes from where I live. Why us? Great post. We need this to happen and HRC has the political muscle to get it done.

I reported the meth-high gay-bashing activities of Aaron Mckinney and Russel Henderson in an attempted drug-dealer ordered "Hit" on my and my son in 1996. They could have been stopped then. Why weren't they? Because I have a dietary aliment called Celiac's Disease, which makes one look "Retarded?" Or even "Perverse?" Why weren't the facts checked out at all?

Why weren't the facts checked out at all and I presented but with pure ridicule by Social Agencies especially?
